Well, hello, Instagram. Good to be back. 😘 It' Well, hello, Instagram. Good to be back. 😘 It's a big week for me. One that I've quietly somewhat dreaded for a while now. My 19-year-old son, Ryan, is moving to the big city. And, while I'm SO happy for him, and can't wait to see where this move leads him, it's definitely bittersweet. He landed an amazing opportunity in the form of a paid internship in Dallas. He is so fun to have here at the house and I'm going to miss him so much. But I was thinking how much more difficult this would be if I was still in my old job working 12 hours shift at the hospital. I was always tired, broke, and didn't have the freedom I have today. Because I took a chance on myself, I'm now able to work so much less and can take off at a moment's notice. Hashtag forever grateful.  🥳 I've also been able to give my family SO much more. Because of my online business, I've been able to help my son lease a beautiful new apartment that is considered "high-end luxury". I'm not telling you this to brag. I'm telling you this because it's possible FOR YOU, too. 🥂 I'm fully obsessed with being able to take an idea, create a digital product around it, and sell it online. I also love helping others find their own way to getting paid to sell something online. It's not some magical unicorn that only a few can make work for themselves. Someone asked me this last week- "If you had to na Someone asked me this last week- "If you had to narrow it down to just one thing that helped you most in growing your business, what would that be?". It felt like a huge question but one that I quickly warmed up to once I let it settle in my heart a bit. The answer would definitely be "loving myself enough to know that I was allowed to ask for more in life". It probably doesn't feel very much like a business/strategy type answer but it is literally the thing that helped me scale my business quickly (and, in turn, up level my own life and standards). If we don't feel we can ask for a successful business, along with a bigger, more full life, then we are pretty much giving ourselves a ticket to stay where we are and not get the thing we want most. I had to realize that I actually could run a multi-six figure business before I had one. I had to understand that God would provide the resources and fill in the gaps when I stepped out on faith. I also had to love myself enough to know that I could have so much more than I was giving myself at the time.
