How easy it is for my brain to go down the rabbit How easy it is for my brain to go down the rabbit hole of worst case scenarios. 🫣 I've noticed, though, when I'm creating this is less likely to happen. I'm more inclined to uncover more bits of hope. It's such a hard balancing act for me - trying to stay aware of world events while maintaining my bearings (and not losing my mind). I like who I am more when I'm creating (something, anything) and life feels more manageable. So, in weird times, and hard times, and even in better times, I prefer to put acts of creativity at the forefront as it just makes life much, much sweeter. 🩷

I love this quote because it reminds us to just cr I love this quote because it reminds us to just create - it doesn't have to be "good". I sometimes tend to put a lot of pressure on myself when I step up to create...which isn't necessary and it wastes time and energy. It helps me to lean into being curious rather than expecting any usable outcome. I like the idea of my soul growing when I create. What a nice thought. Today, I'm cleaning my creative space and working Today, I'm cleaning my creative space and working on some things but I had to stop for a minute when I noticed a paper plate sitting on my work table that I used recently as a paint palette (I love a good distraction from cleaning 😅). Before I tossed it, it was begging me to use it to create a flower bouquet. So, I decided to go with it and ended up with a sweet little flower bouquet created in Procreate. This is a reminder to us all to notice what's around us and what we can use to create. 🩷 Happy Friday!
